Let’s consider Acts 9 (NIV). We know of Dorcas, also known as Tabitha, which translates to Gazelle. Dorcas spread joy wherever she went. And, Dorcas did this through “good works and charitable deeds” (v. 36). And, Dorcas focused her good deeds on helping widows. Dorcas and her friends worked together. Her friends worked with her. And they were better together. There is great power in WE! And An image of Dorcas is a Daisy. Daisies are wildflowers that grow in clusters just like Dorcas and her friends. And the cluster of Daisies, through Peter, raised Dorcas to life from Death with 2 words, “Tabitha Arise”.
